Moving Again

It has been several months since I last made a post on this blog. The reason for this is that we’ve moved from China to Australia. This has been a big move and has meant that there’s been no time for blogging.
We’ve now settled in somewhat, so the blog will start moving again.
What Does This Mean For JobsInChina?
I’m sure people will question the future of the blog, given that I’m not living in China anymore. However, I’m committed to the blog and I hope this will have very little effect.
This was never a blog designed to document everyday occurrences as they happen. Rather, it was designed to distill information from my experience living and working in China over a long period. That hasn’t disappeared!
I may be in Australia now, but I still live in a Chinese household, read extensively about China, talk to people living and working in China and I’ll visit China every year.
I’m confident that I’ll find enough to write about – probably a lot more than I can write about in fact!
Looking For Jobs In China?
I know many visitors to the site come seeking information about jobs in China, not just a blog on living and working in China. That’s understandable given the name of the site.
It has always been my intention to add a job listing service to the site and I’m continuing to look at the options.
I’m hoping to be in position to provide a listing of jobs in China, sometime in the second half of 2008. I want to make the best choice available, so I won’t rush into things.
Final Thoughts
The JobsInChina site is relatively new and it’s a shame that the blog service was disrupted over the last couple of months.
However, things are now moving again and hopefully JobsInChina will go from strength to strength.

I am glad that you have moved to somewhere better for living.
I will keep reading your blog for sure. Keep it up!
Although I have no need for a job in China, I do enjoy your articles and posts about life in China and the economy in China. A friend of mine is actually traveling to China tomorrow so this blog of yours has been a great help. Thank you for the great posts. If we will not be hearing of Jobs in China anymore, I will be looking forward to seeing an Australia blog (if that is in your plans). =)
Sorry, I lost track of you when you stopped updating. I’ll be back as long as you keep publishing your great articles.
Hi Steve,
Thanks for the link to your new site. Been there, love it!
I had stop for a while, but it’s starting to get going again…
