Position available: Recruiter/placement consultant

As a recruiter you are our direct link to new & experienced teachers from all over the world. You directly represent Teaching Nomad, our services, our values and our professionalism.

Experienced education recruiters are preferred but we are open to hiring anyone with teaching, sales, management, HR or business development experience. We are more interested in hiring by attitude than by experience. We run a high productivity workplace and expect everyone to be on the same level. We work as a team, keep the drama to a minimum and understand that we all depend on each other for long term success.

Details & Qualifications:
- Full time + position. 5 days per week. Days off are Sunday & Tuesday (Only until March when we will adopt a regular schedule)
- Minimum 1 year contract but really interested in long term employees.
- Must be a foreigner from US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand or South Africa
- College graduate (for work visa)
- Business casual work attire
- 3+ years’ experience in education recruitment, general recruitment, teaching, sales, management, HR or business development.
Responsibilities, including but not limited to:
- Full recruiting cycle including, initial contact, interviewing, screening, job match and send out.
- Recruiting will be done through a combination of leads provided by the company and self-generated.
- Must become knowledgeable of the teaching environment in China and be able to intelligently inform new candidates
- Work with school account manager to fill openings, identify needed openings
- Report to Company Director regarding weekly/monthly production and progress
- Bi-Monthly contribution to our company blog
Compensation:
- Starting salary of 4,000rmb/month + commission (Successful recruiter should earn between 11,000rmb – 15,000rmb/month)
- Paid vacation time including Chinese holidays, Christmas and 5 personal days
- Legal work visa & residence permit
- More benefits with seniority and company growth including: profit sharing, expense paid vacations, bonuses and more.
- Raise after completion of 60 day probation period

Position Overview

The Foreign Trainer will instruct children aged 2-12 at Disney English Language Learning Centers in China during a 12 to 15 month contract. Trainers will deliver innovative and immersive Disney programming to children in an energetic, passionate manner to provide a highly engaging and effective premium learning experience. The Foreign Trainer reports to the Language Learning Director (LLD) in the Disney English Language Learning Center.

General Duties and Responsibilities:

• Deliver Disney English interactive, scripted content using multimedia materials and a variety of audio-visual aids
• Use immersive learning techniques such as story-telling, singing, dialogue and role playing in conjunction with formal exercises to deliver curriculum
• Interact with both parents and learners in a way that makes language learning fun, engaging and educational
• Deliver both formal and informal assessments and progress reports
• Partner with local Assistant Trainers to maintain strong communication with parents through the Teacher/Parent Portal
• Participate in Center promotional and social events as needed
• Ensure classes are run efficiently and start and end as scheduled
• Prepare print materials, technology and supplemental materials prior to the start of each class
• Collect audio & visual portfolio evidence of language learner work during lessons
• Provide private lessons as required due to learner absences or for learners that are falling behind
• Attend weekly meetings with the LLD to communicate all pertinent learner and classroom management issues

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
• Native English speaker
• 24 months of post-bachelor’s teaching experience with students/children in an educational, recreational or camp setting. Within this experience, a minimum of 12 months of consecutive employment is required.
• A passion for children and their development
• Ability to command the attention of large groups of children in an engaging manner
• Energetic, enthusiastic approach to delivering content to learners
• Flexible to change
• Strong oral and written communication and organizational skills
• Customer-service oriented with strong problem solving skills
• Ability to relocate to China for a 12 to 15-month contract
• Ability to function under stressful circumstances
• Ability to lift 40-50 pounds

Desired Qualifications:

• Internationally recognized TEFL or TESOL certification
• Familiarity and comfort with traveling internationally
• International study or work abroad experience
• Willingness to experience new cultures
• Familiarity/affinity with the Disney brand

Roles and Responsibilities:
 Visit wine shops, relative hotels and restaurants, and large multinational companies. Provide market strategy and develop wine regroup-sales market.
 Contact customers and related departments. Build-up further business partnership.
 Manage sales performance, pipeline development and forecasting.
 Strong sales experience in articulating and selling of wines which includes company’s planning and delivering.

Skill Requirements:
 College degree or above, marketing or business management major is preferred.
 Good management and marketing knowledge experience is required.
