The Students
Students are typically 20 to 35 years old professionals, well educated and from a wide variety of backgrounds. Levels range from beginner right through to advanced and all students are clearly placement tested to ensure they are studying alongside students of the same abilities.

The Courses
Standard Classes
Class sizes are kept small, to an average of 3 students per class, which helps ensure real progress is made by all and allows for easy classroom management.

Lessons are made up of a variety of teaching materials and are designed to be engaging and communicative. Teachers guide students through both controlled practice and authentic conversation activities. All the lesson materials are already in place, so minimal lesson planning is required.

A Social Setting
Teachers also run sessions with more of a social focus, designed to further give students the opportunity to use their language in a natural setting, while having fun at the same time. Topics are limited only by your imagination and can be anything from baking cookies to speed dating.

As with all language schools, classes are delivered on evenings and weekends, giving teachers plenty of time off during weekday mornings and afternoons.

You will not only be teaching, but also developing your own skill sets and competencies. Salary& Benefits
This position offers monthly salary, ranging from 4000-5000 RMB per month. Private apartment provided. Teachers get paid holidays, travel allowance, and airfare allowance on successful completion of the contract. Please contact to learn about more benefits.

In addition, school will provide free airport-pickup service in China upon your arrival and Work visa, residence permit provided as well as free Chinese Classes every week. An English speaking school coordinator will help you to adapt to your new living environment.

Ideal candidates:
Native English speakers.
Age between 20-55 years
Bachelor degree or higher, 1-2 year’s teaching Experience
Be motivated, patient, punctual, responsible, energetic and cooperative.

Disney English is looking for the best and brightest educators to instruct children aged 2-12 in an intensive program at our Language Learning Centers throughout China. We’re growing at an exceptional rate, and have established learning centers in several cities including, Beijing, Shanghai, Nanjing, Ningbo, Tianjin, Hangzhou, Suzhou, with centers in Dalian, and Chengdu soon to come!

The Disney Approach – Immersive Storytelling
Trainers will follow an innovative and immersive Disney inspired program, leveraging state-of-the-art technology as well as Disney’s beloved characters and stories to provide students with a highly engaging and effective premium learning experience.

Courses
Once you complete our thorough training program, you will be proficient in delivering Disney English content. A variety of printed materials, multimedia tools and audio-visual aids that include formal exercises and language games will be provided in order to deliver a dynamic curriculum that emphasizes dialogue, story-telling, singing and role-playing.

Requirements
-Bachelors degree required
– Candidates should have 2+ years post-graduate experience teaching young learners, ESL preferred
-Candidates should be native English speakers
-Internationally recognized TEFL or TESOL certification (ask us for help, if you have secured one)
-Creativity and excitement to engage with our learners in their lessons
-Talents in music, art, and theater are a huge plus
-Must be able to lift 40-50 pounds as required

Compensation
-Generous salary: 10,500 RMB per month (Full Time Trainers)
-Generous salary: 12,500 RMB per month (Senior Trainers)
-3,000RMB – 4,350RMB monthly housing allowance (dependent on location)
-7,000RMB training bonus at start of contract
-Disney English will purchase flight to China, and provide a return Flight Allowance of 420RMB per month (maximum of 5000 RMB toward return flight)
-Health/Dental Insurance Premium Paid
-Free hotel provided for up to 3 weeks while you search for an apartment
-Initial 1 week training course as well as on-going professional development
-Health/Dental Insurance
-TEFL-C certification
-Free Mandarin course by ‘Rosetta Stone’
