About Forum organizer position

This is an important position with responsibility for helping the forums executive of the Beijing office organizing vibrant and groundbreaking conferences about retail banking, risk management, capital markets, and banking technology. The Beijing forums department has only been on the ground for two years but is already making an impact. The person will help the lead researcher build charts, graphs, and info grams using excel. This person will help organize keynote speakers, delegates, and guest for The Asian Banker major conferences, such as The Asian Summit.

The role will involve:
-Working online side the forums manager in organizing major banking conferences
– Contacting Chinese banking executives, and sometimes banking executives in Asia and the West.
– Clearly communicating with the forums manager your progress and who you are contacting.
– Translating important documents from English to Chinese.
– Organizing keynote speakers, delegates guest for important conferences.
-Doing research on the stars of certain industries, such as risk management, big data, retail banking, and capital markets.

Qualifications
– At least a junior in college.
– Understands how to use excel and Word.
– Able to translate from Chinese to English.
– Has a passion in organizing people for forums, events, and conferences
– Able to write in clear, precise Chinese
– Has knowledge in Chinese banking or economics
– Excellent communication skills in Chinese. Knows how to talk to banking executives.
– Proficient communication in English, including listening, reading, writing and speaking
– Cantonese, Thai, Indonesia, or any other Asian languages is a plus

ArtoVino is seeking for a Marketing & Communication Associate who is passionate in social media, event organization and business strategy development.
The ideal candidate should have a Guangzhou based work or study experience. This role involves in creating market strategy, sourcing partners, negotiating with clients, organizing events to promote the cellar in the Chinese wine business and maintaining ongoing relationships between ArtoVino and its key partners.
The position is full-time and based in our Guangzhou wine cellar. This position will directly report to the Executive Director.

Responsibilities:
 Emphasis on new business development locally.
 Engage appropriate resources at all levels within the company and with external partners and suppliers where necessary.
 Represent ArtoVino in meetings with foreign communities during cocktails or dinners.
 Organize different promotion events such as wine tastings.
 Remain up-to-date with wine knowledge and trends in Wine industry and general business.
 Ownership and resolution of retail sales related issues.

Skill Requirements:
 French wine acknowledge required.
 Fluent spoken in English.
 Extensive knowledge of online community websites.
 Interpersonal skills and able to develop strongly working relationships.
 Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
 Present and negotiate skills imperative
 Knowing Chinese will be a plus.

Job availability: From Mid December 2011
Time table: 5 days per week from 12am to 10pm
