Job Summary:

> Assist with the administration of the day-to-day operations of the human resources functions and duties.

> Contribute to the accomplishment of various human resources objectives and strategies.

Responsibilities:

The HR assistant shall help with tasks belonging to these areas:

— recruiting and staffing logistics;
— employee orientation, development, and training logistics and recordkeeping;
— performance management and improvement tracking systems;
— compensation and benefits administration and recordkeeping;
— employee safety, welfare, wellness, and health reporting;
— assisting with employee relations;
— company employee communication;
— employee services;
— maintaining employee files and the HR filing system;
— assisting with the day-to-day efficient operation of the HR department;
— assisting company managers with HR issues

Requirements:

— Native French speaker or Francophone.
— Fluent English a must, both oral and written.
— Speaking at least one or more other European languages, like Spanish, German, or Russian.
— Effective communication and presentation skills.
— Good organizing and planning skills. Good at multi-tasking.
— Good-natured, easy-going, willing to help others.
— A self-starter who can work with limited or without supervision.
— Computer skills including the ability to operate spreadsheets and wordprocessing programs at a highly proficient level.
— Previous generalist human resources experience or recruitment experience a plus.

Aon Hewitt is searching for an HR Process Work Stream Lead to sit at a client site for 12 months in Shenzhen, China.

This position will lead the process work stream as part of the larger HR organization transformation, working with the client process team lead to manage HR process development, advise on the boundaries and linkages between processes, and assure the effective integration and consolidation of processes as developed by the respective process owners and stakeholders. The process development effort will also be supported by one to two additional consultants and an eight-member client process team, working with process owners and controllers to assure completion of process development and the piloting, deployment, and ongoing improvement of such processes.

The process lead will be familiar with all HR disciplines, e.g., organization design, staffing, talent management, and with strategic, design, administrative and operational processes under a three-pillar HR model of HR business partners, centers of expertise, and shared services center, with self-service capabilities. He or she will have managed and participated in the design of global HR processes, ideally with a technology company.

As the lead role, you must be effective in directing and delegating work within a team structure, while also conducting hands-on work yourself in developing HR processes. Additionally, you have strong skills and experience working with client teams, managing project activities, including the ability to work successfully through client ambiguities and shifting priorities. A minimum of 8 to 10 years of relevant experience is required.

Commitment is required to a minimum of 12 -months on location in Shenzhen, China, on a cycle of approximately one month on, two weeks off. While the ability to speak Mandarin (Putonghua) and read Chinese is not a requirement, it would be a great plus.
