As a member of the After Sales department the Senior Consultant is responsible for many tasks ranging from general assistance with the process managers, e.g. proofreading and editing student application essays and email communication with US-side admissions counselors and university staff. Additionally, Sr. Consultants are responsible for liaising with VIP clients individually and with the processing team. Research into specific college/university programs and policies as well as US higher education processes, policies, and culture comprises a large aspect of the Sr. Consultant’s responsibilities. Occasional interview preparation also figures into the responsibilities of the Sr. Consultant.
The Sr. Consultant will also be responsible for delivering targeted lectures to students interested in study at U.S. institutes of higher learning covering a range of topics from American academic standards, to U.S. university culture, along with other topics relevant to the admissions process and U.S. university experience.
Further, as IvyGate’s business model continues to develop to encompass US secondary education the Sr. Consultant may be required to research institutions of interest to clients and potential clients, establish contact with US institutions, and counsel clients on the application process. The Sr. Consultant reports directly to the CEO.
